Every backyard cookout needs a dip that disappears before the mains even hit the grill. This queso gets its backbone from Brunk Black Blend — the same smoky, peppery rub that makes our tri-tip and pinwheels sing — stirred into melty cheese for a snack that tastes like it's been smoking all day.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz block processed cheese (or 8 oz cheddar + 8 oz Monterey Jack), cubed
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 jalapeño, diced (optional, for heat)
  • Tortilla chips, for serving

Brunk Seasoning Used

Instructions

  1. Melt the cheese. In a cast iron skillet over medium-low heat (stovetop or set right on a cool corner of the grill), melt the cheese with the milk, stirring often.
  2. Stir in the mix-ins. Once smooth, stir in the diced tomatoes with green chilies and jalapeño.
  3. Season. Sprinkle in Brunk Black Blend and stir to combine.
  4. Simmer. Let simmer 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thick and glossy.
  5. Serve. Pull straight from the skillet with a stack of tortilla chips while the rest of the spread finishes on the grill.

Don't just season it. Brunk it. 🔥
